Aid and Attendance: Help for Veterans

Veterans, 65 years and older who served during war time, may be eligible for a tax-free benefit named the Veterans Aid and Attendance benefit awarded by the Department of Veterans Affairs.  This benefit was designed to provide financial aid for war era veterans and their surviving spouses to help cover the cost of long-term care at home, in a board and care, or in an assisted living community.  Attorneys Susan Jean and Rhiannon Hartman from The Heritage Law Group will conduct the presentation.

Contribute to our Cause

The ever growing population of aging Americans and the caregivers who care for them makes it more important now than ever to pursue resources that provide assistance to these individuals and families. Because our organization is all-volunteer, very little of our income is used for administrative costs. We hope you’ll consider making a donation so that we can fulfill our promises to the Greater Williamsburg area. Click below to see how you can help.
